I escape to the woods and lakes and mountains to quiet my mind and nurture my soul; and there, when I am lucky, I experience moments of such simple grace and beauty that I am renewed. I feel privileged to share such moments through my images, a glimpse of what I saw and felt.

Only a glimpse – I cannot show you the sweet scent and gentle whisper of pines swaying in the wind; or the submerged clatter of the stones washing up and down the beach of Lake Superior, hidden and revealed by the waves over and over and over again; or the endless roar and electric freshness at the base of a rushing waterfall.

Only a glimpse – but I offer these images as windows into the natural world waiting just around the corner and down the road from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. May they please your eyes, soothe your spirit, and brighten your day!
