Wow, what a fantastic year you’ve had Jack! All of the images are wonderful. My favorites have to be the autumn images with the lake/river, the forest with the river, and your sunrise/sunset images! Just beautiful!
Thanks, Rachel – I appreciate your kind words!
Just looking at your site – I love the pic of the rocks at the top!

Very nice set of images, Jack. Love the peaceful forest images. Very inviting, esp. the ones with the path, but those two panos are simply over the top!
Glad to hear you enjoyed them, Gary, and thanks for stopping by the site!
(I hadn’t been to your actual website in some time, so I just took a quick look – nice to see I’m not the only one who enjoys a nice pastoral scene with some cows in it! :^D )

I can see why these are your favorites, hard to pick which ones I like the best but if I had to it would be the 2nd & 3rd last with the rock faces and tree
Thanks, Peter – those foggy Alaska images have a very “zen” feeling for me…
You have some lovely work on your site, btw…
– Jack
Hey Jack, beautiful set you have here. I particularly like your top pick, that is one of my favorites as well. The earthy textures and fog make for a great scenic. It works so well as a panoramic. I also like the fog images at the bottom from Alaska – I agree, very Zen-like.
Thanks, Mark, and thanks for inspiring me to do this. I’ve seen annual picks a number of times, but for some reason seeing yours this year put me over the edge & got me to actually do it…
:^D

Great work. You had quite the productive year…
Your Portage Lake Iceberg Abstract really grabs me. Hope 2012 is good to you.
Thanks, pj! That shot was lots of fun for me – first time I’d ever seen an iceberg in person. This one was pretty small – maybe the size of a camper or small bus – but it was still quite the experience!
Hope you have a great 2012, too!
